Brain Injury Canada is inviting interested Canadians to submit expressions of interest to serve on the Board of Directors for up to a three-year term.

Interested candidates are asked to send the following information to Harry Zarins, Executive Director at executivedirector@biac-aclc.ca: Introductory letter expressing why you would like to sit on the Board, what you feel you can contribute to Brain Injury Canada and your curriculum vitae.

Brain Injury Canada is looking particularly for people with experience in revenue generation / fund development / fund raising; finances, business management, governance, policy, government relations as well as Canadians active in the health and legal professions and caregivers involved in the field of acquired brain injury. At this stage of the organization’s development, the Board is a working board and lends support to growing the national office and its program services. All submissions will be given serious consideration.

Deadline for submission of expressions of interest is Friday, September 9, 2016.

Those persons selected for nomination to the Board will be asked to attend the Annual General Meeting to be held in Toronto, Ontario, on September 28, 2016 in the late afternoon / early evening. Attendance is preferred but not compulsory.
