Kathy France

Kathy France is a theatre artist and writer living in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. France spent seventeen years living abroad in Syria, Trinidad, Thailand, Yugoslavia, Croatia and Nepal. While overseas, she worked as a playwright, director, actress and founded Caravan Theatre, which she figured was an apropos name for a company that kept moving from country to country. With her return to Canada in 2012, France has continued to explore her passion for writing. She enjoys writing spoken word performance pieces, and is currently working on a travel memoir.

In 2017, Kathy had a stroke and created a spoken word piece about it. You can watch it below
